Donate to LVSA
Literacy Volunteers Serving Adults (LVSA) in New Castle County relies on public and private sources to provide funding for our operations and teaching supplies.
Since our budget is only partially funded through WIA federal funds, we depend heavily on individuals, foundations and companies for support. Your generous donation can make an impact on reducing the staggering statistics on illiteracy in our area.
There are many different ways you can contribute to LVSA:
-
- Give an annual monetary gift to our general fund
- Provide a specific gift or sponsorship in honor or memory of someone special for one of our programs
- Bequeath funds to us in your will or trust
- Designate your United Way donation to us by using our United Way of Delaware Affiliate Code: 0707
- Contribute prizes for our special events
- Sponsor one of our Special Events, including:
- Scrabble® Spellebration™
- Recognition Dinner
- Provide needed items such as copy/printer paper, post-it notes, paper clips, steno tablets, notebooks, notecards, paper towels, napkins (please call the office for a complete list)
Organizations also can help by offering their locations for tutoring, tutor training or our special events. Click here to see a list of our current sponsors.
All individual and corporate contributions, including in-kind donations, are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
