SCRABBLE® Spellebration™ A Hit!
More than 100 people came out to enjoy the 2009 Scrabble SPELLEBRATION on October 17, 2009 at Widener University Law School's Barrister's Club. The fun started with three rounds of competitive Scrabble, followed by raffle drawings and a cocktail awards social. Leuitenant Governor Matt Denn presented the The Beantown Scrabblers with the first-place prize for creating the highest scoring Scrabble board in three rounds. Almost $8000 was made for the cause of adult literacy in Delaware! Thanks to all our participants, volunteers, contributors and sponsors.
